ATA’s founder, Letisha D. Sailor, is a Florida licensed attorney with over 20 years of aviation, tax, and accounting experience. She received her LL.M. in taxation from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2007, where she was a Graduate Tax Scholar. She received her J.D. from Florida State University College of Law in 2003, where she was a member of a law journal and the trial advocacy team. She received her bachelor’s degree, cum laude, from Florida A&M University in 1997.
Prior to founding ATA, Letisha was a Principal at GKG Law, P.C. (2023-2025) in the business aviation and tax practice group and a managing attorney at Advocate Consulting Legal Group, PLLC, an aviation tax firm Letisha joined in 2009. Her legal career began as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Marguerite H. Davis, retired, Florida First District Court of Appeal. She also has several years of accounting experience with large and midsize companies.
Letisha is a member of the National Business Aviation Association’s Tax Committee, which works with the IRS and state tax authorities on key policy issues impacting business aviation. She also serves as Treasurer of the Central Florida Business Aviation Association and is a member of a number of other aviation associations, including the National Aircraft Finance Association, International Aerospace Womens Association, Florida Aviation Business Aviation Association, and Tampa Bay Aviation Association.
